During my recent business trip to Lillehammer, I had the pleasure of staying at Aksjemøllen by Classic Norway Hotels, and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we checked in, the friendly staff made us feel right at home, something my wife and I greatly appreciated after the sleepless night on the train. Our room was beautifully renovated, combining modern comfort with charming historical touches. The views from the Toppen Sky Bar at sunset were simply breathtaking, overlooking the ski jump towers on one side and the serene Mesna river on the other-perfect for unwinding after a long day of meetings. Plus, being within walking distance of local dining spots and the shopping district made it incredibly convenient for our family, especially with our young daughter in tow. The breakfast at the Egon restaurant was fantastic, offering a delightful range of fresh options to fuel our days of exploring. If you're looking for a unique ambiance, the mix of original mill architecture and modern decor, along with the hotel's deep-rooted history, truly sets Aksjemøllen apart. I'd recommend this gem to anyone wanting to experience the heart of Lillehammer with a touch of local charm!
